Summer Chastant is an award-winning filmmaker who has worked with notable production companies to develop her original content content for television.

She is the creator, executive producer, writer, and lead of the original series Namaste, Bitches. The hit show has been written up in The New York Times, MTV, Paste Magazine, Cosmopolitan (among many others) and was dubbed “the Girls of Yoga” by LA Weekly. With over a million views it has been named in numerous top lists of “best original series” alongside of Netflix’s Master of None, Louis C.K.’s Horace and Pete, Jerry Sienfeld’s Driving in Cars with Comedians and HBO’s High Maintenance.

Her short film, A Little Bit Pregnant, is currently making the festival rounds and has racked up nominations for her in the categories of Best Director, Best Actress, Best New Filmmaker, and a win for Best Comedy at the Brooklyn Women’s Film Festival. 

 Chastant’s most recent digital series, Rage Room, is directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld (Legally Blonde 2, Kissing Jessica Stein, etc). Rage Room can be seen on REVRY TV.
